• Gwendlyn Bell born 1997 in California, USA.

• Residing and working in California, USA.

Gwendlyn Bell creates beautifully dark, surrealist artwork, exploring figures and landscapes through intricate patterns, fine details, and a variety of artistic mediums. Her work spans mechanical pencil, powdered graphite, acrylics, oils, watercolors, and mixed media.

Her subjects are richly detailed, while her landscapes evoke a wide range of moods and atmospheres, inviting viewers into worlds that feel both familiar and otherworldly.

Rooted in the subconscious, each creation draws inspiration from personal experiences, shared human experiences, and the complexities of the inner mind.

Outside of her working hours, Gwendlyn manages her household, spends time with her children, and homeschools them. In the evenings, once her husband returns home from work, the family comes together to spend quality time as a whole. Caring for a family and pursuing her artistic career has always been her dream.

balancing a career in art with a growing family isn't always easy, but Gwendlyn is deeply grateful for the love and support of her family and friends. Making art would be impossible without them.

To everyone who has encouraged and supported Gwendlyn’s work by purchasing her art, thank you. Your kindness and support mean more than words can express, and you help make this dream a reality.

For older signed works, maiden name: Gwendlyn Elwe.
